How this calculator works
Buffered calendar window = max(days to due date − safety buffer, 0). Available effort = user-entered working days × daily hours. Required working days = ceiling(preparation hours ÷ daily hours). Budget = work hours × hourly cost + verified fees.Worked example
Thirty days to a due date less a seven-day buffer leaves 23 calendar days. Eighteen hours at two hours per working day needs nine working days. Fifteen available working days provide 30 hours of capacity, so the estimated shortfall is zero. At 40 per hour plus 200 fees, preparation value is 920.Assumptions
Defaults are illustrative. Replace them with your own measured quantities and documented assumptions. Use matching periods and a consistent currency wherever monetary amounts are entered.Interpreting your results
This does not discover deadlines, send reminders or establish compliance. Verify dates, requirements, holidays and fees with the relevant authority. Working days are entered manually and are not inferred from calendar days.Calculation formulas

Frequently asked questions
What should I check before using the result?
Start from the regulator, renewal notice or responsible compliance owner. Count the remaining calendar days yourself and enter working-day availability separately; weekends and absences change the schedule.
Does this tool connect to my records?
No. This is a local calculation from the figures you enter. It does not scan accounts, import private records or verify legal, regulatory or exam requirements.
