How Our Calculators Work

Every ProWorkstack calculator uses a defined mathematical model. You supply the inputs; the page shows the calculation, result, and assumptions.

1. Choose the right question

Check the tool’s introduction and methodology. Confirm whether the output measures invoice opportunity, a reconciliation gap, recovered cash, payroll variance, or modeled benefit. These measures answer different questions.

2. Replace the example inputs

Use your own volumes, rates, costs, and percentages. Match currencies, reporting periods, and customer cohorts. Percentage fields use whole percentage points: enter 6 for 6%. Choose Currency for your amounts and enter every monetary input in that currency. Changing the selection updates labels and formatting without converting numbers. Defaults and worked examples illustrate the formula; they are not local price or income benchmarks. Your choice is remembered in this browser and included in shared scenarios and CSV exports. Reset restores example inputs and keeps your selected currency.

3. Calculate and inspect

Select Calculate after changing an input. Previous results clear when inputs change. Review the main result, supporting outputs, scenario table, formula explanation, and worked example. Undefined ratios display an explanation when the denominator is zero.

4. Compare scenarios

Vary one assumption at a time to understand its effect. Scenario tables use the tool’s stated model. Differences between a target and a current rate are percentage-point changes, not percentage growth.

5. Keep a useful record

Download CSV exports the inputs and results to your device. Print results opens your browser’s print dialog. Share scenario creates a URL containing your entered values; share only figures you are comfortable exposing in a URL.

Check the assumptions before acting

Revenue, invoice value, recovered cash, and profit are distinct. Time saved is not automatically cash saved. Review timing, adoption, contribution costs, and data quality before using a modeled result for an operating decision.
