Editorial Policy

ProWorkstack publishes original explanations and transparent calculation models for defined business workflows. Our standards are designed to make each result understandable and reproducible.

Calculation standards

Each published calculator identifies its inputs, mathematical relationships, output units, assumptions, and worked example. We check representative cases and relevant boundaries, including zero denominators and negative economic outcomes. We do not convert a negative result into a positive savings claim.

Defaults and evidence

Default values are illustrative unless a tool explicitly identifies a dated source for a benchmark. External sources support definitions or context; they do not automatically validate every assumption or formula. User-provided operating data remains the basis of the scenario.

Reviews and changes

A review date records a review of the tool’s model and explanation. It does not imply a review by an accountant, attorney, clinician, or other credentialed specialist. The maintained-by label identifies ProWorkstack as the publisher. Material formula changes require updated examples and checks.

Clear interpretation

We distinguish invoice opportunity from collected cash, a reconciliation signal from confirmed loss, and recovered cash from profit. We describe exclusions and timing effects that materially change interpretation.

Corrections

When reporting a calculation issue, identify the calculator, the inputs you used, the expected result, and the result shown. Use non-confidential example values so the issue can be reproduced safely.

Commercial independence

A commercial relationship does not change a calculator’s formula. Any sponsored or affiliate placement must be identified where it appears and separated from calculator inputs and results.
