How this calculator works

Remaining scenarios = applicable scenarios − capped accepted scenarios. Accepted percentage = accepted ÷ positive applicable count × 100. Effort = remaining scenarios × execution/review minutes ÷ 60 + separate fixes hours. Time value = effort × engineering cost.

Worked example

Eleven accepted scenarios out of 18 gives 61.11% completion and seven remaining. At 30 minutes each plus four fixes hours, effort is 7.5 hours, valued at 562.50 at 75 per hour.

Assumptions

Defaults are illustrative. Replace them with your own measured quantities and documented assumptions. Use matching periods and a consistent currency wherever monetary amounts are entered.

Interpreting your results

This does not send webhook requests, inspect endpoints or validate security. Coverage depends on the scenarios you define and the evidence you record. A completed plan is not proof that every failure mode is covered.

Frequently asked questions

What should I check before using the result?

Use your integration’s documented requirements to cover relevant delivery, retry, duplicate, ordering and failure cases. Record the expected result and observed evidence for each case before marking it accepted.

Does this tool connect to my records?

No. This is a local calculation from the figures you enter. It does not scan accounts, import private records or verify legal, regulatory or exam requirements.
