Calculate a practice-section weighted average using your own exercise scores and provider weights.
Enter the weights for your practice material
Use weights supplied for the exact practice set, not an assumed official exam conversion. The remaining weight is allocated to simulations. If your material has more components, combine them on a documented basis first.
How the calculation works
Practice average = multiple-choice score × its weight + simulation score × remaining weight. Gap = max(practice target − average, 0). Required simulation score = (target − weighted multiple-choice money left after variable costs) ÷ positive simulation weight. Values above 100 mean the target cannot be reached by simulations alone.
A worked example
A 72% multiple-choice result weighted 60% and a 65% simulation result weighted 40% give 69.2%. The gap to a 75% practice target is 5.8 points. Holding MCQ unchanged would require 79.5% in simulations.
Choose a practice action from the gap
The required simulation result shows the arithmetic tradeoff, not what you will score next. Review ongoing error types and retest with fresh questions. A high average can still hide a weak topic that deserves separate study.
What the result leaves out
This is not official CPA scoring or a pass prediction. Provider practice percentages and user weights cannot recreate a scaled exam score. Verify practice-set definitions and compare only similar exercises.

The defaults are constructed examples, not market benchmarks. Keep a copy of the records and assumptions behind your result so you can repeat the comparison after the next reporting period.
