Field Operations

Build a consistent numerical view of dispatch, job capacity, and service delivery before changing a field-service workflow.

Field service calculators

Start with the operating constraint

Identify the limiting resource: available trucks, qualified technicians, travel time, job duration, or service windows. Measure capacity in the same unit and period as incoming work. Keep booked time separate from productive service time.

Compare a baseline and a proposed workflow

For each case, record completed jobs, travel hours, paid hours, repeat visits, and contribution per completed job. Include overtime, dispatch administration, and implementation costs. Assess whether a change improves both delivery reliability and the economics of service.

Use the same reconciliation discipline

Completed jobs should connect to approved billable work and matching invoices. The CRM-to-billing calculator can quantify an unexplained billing difference after known exclusions.
