How this calculator works
Remaining items = max(applicable items − min(completed items, applicable items), 0). Completion percentage = completed applicable items ÷ positive applicable items × 100. Review value = remaining items × minutes per item ÷ 60 × hourly reviewer cost.Worked example
Forty applicable items with 28 complete leave 12. Completion is 70%. At 15 minutes per item and 60 per hour, remaining review effort is three hours valued at 180. Four critical open items are shown separately, without changing the percentage.Assumptions
Defaults are illustrative. Replace them with your own measured quantities and documented assumptions. Use matching periods and a consistent currency wherever monetary amounts are entered.Interpreting your results
A checklist percentage does not establish legal compliance or document quality. No document is uploaded or inspected. Required items, evidence standards and critical designations must come from the responsible reviewer.Calculation formulas
- remaining
MAX(required-MIN(complete,required),0)- Checklist completion
SAFE_DIV(MIN(complete,required),required,0)*100- Items still to review
remaining- Unfinished critical items
MIN(critical,remaining)- Estimated cost to finish the review
remaining*minutes/60*rate
Frequently asked questions
What should I check before using the result?
Remove genuinely inapplicable checks with a recorded reason rather than marking them complete. A completed item needs the evidence your reviewer requires; the calculator cannot decide whether a document satisfies that evidence.
Does this tool connect to my records?
No. This is a local calculation from the figures you enter. It does not scan accounts, import private records or verify legal, regulatory or exam requirements.
