How this calculator works
Adjusted expected charges = max(completed site-nights × comparable average nightly charge + other earned charges − documented reductions, 0). Signed difference = adjusted expected charges − posted charges. Potential unposted value = max(difference, 0). Net collection scenario = potential unposted value × collection fraction − review cost.Worked example
500 completed site-nights × 45 plus 1,500 other charges minus 1,000 documented reductions equals 23,000 expected charges. Against 21,500 posted charges, the potential gap is 1,500. Collecting 80% gives 1,200; subtract 200 review cost for a 1,000 net scenario.Assumptions
Defaults illustrate the arithmetic, not market prices or expected performance. Use measured quantities and documented costs. All monetary inputs must use the same currency.Interpreting your results
The aggregate difference is a review signal, not evidence that a guest owes money. Deposits, refunds, complimentary stays, tax and reporting cutoffs must use a consistent basis. A negative signed difference can indicate overposting or mismatched records. No reservation system is connected.Calculation formulas
