How this calculator works

Hours = (source duration × review-time factor + clip count × (editing minutes + review minutes)) ÷ 60 + fixed planning/publishing hours. Labor budget = hours × hourly cost. Per-clip allocation = labor budget ÷ positive clip count.

Worked example

A 60-minute webinar at a 1.2 review factor needs 72 review minutes. Eight clips at 25 editing plus ten checking minutes add 280 minutes. Add two fixed hours for 7.87 total hours, valued at 314.67 at 40 per hour.

Assumptions

Defaults are illustrative. Replace them with your own measured quantities and documented assumptions. Use matching periods and a consistent currency wherever monetary amounts are entered.

Interpreting your results

No webinar is processed or published and no LinkedIn engagement is predicted. Permissions, context, accuracy and platform requirements need separate review. Planned clips may be rejected, so delivered cost per clip can be higher.

Frequently asked questions

What should I check before using the result?

A long recording does not guarantee many useful standalone moments. Review context and identify material that makes sense without the surrounding presentation. Use a smaller clip count when suitable segments are limited.

Does this tool connect to my records?

No. This is a local calculation from the figures you enter. It does not scan accounts, import private records or verify legal, regulatory or exam requirements.
