Summarize manually entered proposal-view and win counts within the same completed sales group of records.
Count proposals rather than open events
One recipient can open a proposal many times. Count a proposal once when measuring confirmed-view percentage. Keep revised versions under the same opportunity unless your group of records definition explicitly treats them separately.
How the calculation works
Confirmed-view percentage = capped viewed proposals ÷ positive proposals sent × 100. Win percentage = capped wins ÷ proposals sent × 100. money left after variable costs = counted wins × money left after variable costs per win. Views and wins are separately capped because a confirmed view is not required to record a legitimate win.
A worked example
Forty unique proposals with 28 confirmed views have a 70% view percentage. Eight wins give a 20% win percentage. At 1,500 money left after variable costs per win, counted money left after variable costs is 12,000.
Allow the group of records time to close
Recent proposals may still be awaiting a decision. Comparing them with fully closed older proposals can make a new version appear weaker. Keep qualification, price range and sales cycle similar before drawing conclusions.
What the result leaves out
This tracks no opens, visitors or document versions. Views are user-provided and may be incomplete. The model does not prove that engagement caused a sale. Compare versions only across genuinely comparable, mature group of records.

The defaults are constructed examples, not market benchmarks. Choose one currency for every monetary input; the currency selector formats values and does not convert exchange rates. Keep a copy of the records and assumptions behind your result so you can repeat the comparison after the next reporting period.
