Summarize manually verified store SEO checks and separate high-priority gaps from general checklist completion.
Use evidence for each check
Record the page, test and observed result before marking a check passed. Applicable checks can cover navigation, duplicate page handling and indexable product content, but the exact list should reflect your store configuration.
How the calculation works
Open checks = applicable checks − capped passed checks. Completion percentage = passed ÷ positive applicable checks × 100. High-priority open count is capped at open checks. Initial budget = open checks × average fix hours × hourly cost.
A worked example
Twenty-one passed checks out of 30 gives 70% completion and nine open checks. At 1.5 hours each and 60 per hour, the initial labor budget is 810. Three high-priority open checks remain visible separately.
Price difficult fixes separately
A broken product link and a platform-wide rendering problem do not need the same effort. Use the average only for an initial budget, then quote material fixes individually. Verify the result of each change instead of treating checklist completion as a ranking promise.
What the result leaves out
This does not crawl Shopify or another store, validate indexing or predict rankings. A checklist score is not a search-engine quality score. Priorities and estimated effort require actual technical inspection; no automatic issue detection is claimed.

The defaults are constructed examples, not market benchmarks. Choose one currency for every monetary input; the currency selector formats values and does not convert exchange rates. Keep a copy of the records and assumptions behind your result so you can repeat the comparison after the next reporting period.
