How this calculator works

Eligible comparison hours = max(documented work hours − approved excluded hours, 0). Signed difference = eligible hours − comparable timesheet hours. Recovery scenario = positive difference × rate × recoverable fraction.

Worked example

One hundred eighty documented hours less 20 approved exclusions leaves 160. Against 145 tracked hours, the difference is 15. At 100 per hour and 50% recoverability, the value scenario is 750.

Assumptions

Defaults are illustrative. Replace them with your own measured quantities and documented assumptions. Use matching periods and a consistent currency wherever monetary amounts are entered.

Interpreting your results

No chat messages, Slack activity or worker productivity are analyzed. Messages are not evidence of hours worked. Confirm time, billing permissions and duplicate entries before treating a difference as recoverable value.

Frequently asked questions

What should I check before using the result?

Collect agreed task or work records with a clear time basis. A message count, online status or response time cannot establish worked hours. Keep payroll time and client-billable time as separate comparisons.

Does this tool connect to my records?

No. This is a local calculation from the figures you enter. It does not scan accounts, import private records or verify legal, regulatory or exam requirements.
