How this calculator works
Preparation hours = source pages × reading minutes per page ÷ 60 + outline/script hours + recording/assembly hours + checking/revision hours. Whole preparation days = ceiling(total hours ÷ positive daily capacity).Worked example
Thirty pages at three minutes each need 1.5 hours of selection. Add two scripting hours, 1.5 assembly hours and one checking hour for six hours total. At 1.5 hours per day, preparation needs four days.Assumptions
Defaults are illustrative. Replace them with your own measured quantities and documented assumptions. Use matching periods and a consistent currency wherever monetary amounts are entered.Interpreting your results
This does not convert files into video, assess ADHD or provide medical guidance. The estimate is a workload plan; a different learning format may or may not help you. Copyright permission and factual checking are separate responsibilities.Calculation formulas

Frequently asked questions
What should I check before using the result?
A concise study aid requires choosing what to omit as well as what to keep. Time a few representative pages before estimating the whole source. Dense tables and diagrams may need a separate allowance.
Does this tool connect to my records?
No. This is a local calculation from the figures you enter. It does not scan accounts, import private records or verify legal, regulatory or exam requirements.
